Nelly, the most devilish friend ever has invited us to some Majlis Cukur Jambul in Janda Baik. After seeing the worst of KL almost every day, escapade in Janda Baik is definitely something that we really look forward.
We woke up early and arrived by 11am even though the ceremony won’t start after lunch. Well, it’s worth the waiting as we strolling in the garden with the beautiful scenery overlooking the river and the sound of reverberating waterfall. Nelly’s grandfather, the fame political writer Syed Al Attas, manages to groom his garden into an awesome landscape complete with rest houses.
The best thing happen when we ate our delicious nasi beriyani kambing by the river. Swimming became the next agenda and we ate some more while sitting on the rock in the middle of Janda Baik stream.
